Deliver Supplier Value Improvement (SVI) with strategic suppliers through productivity and efficiency improvement in their operations
Assess and identify key suppliers to partner with and drive supplier continuous improvement in Cost, Quality, and Delivery
Coaching of Lean principles and lead activities at suppliers factories, progress plan with strategic suppliers and share savings with suppliers

Main Responsibilities:
AUDITING
• Lead the technical audit process, understand the gap between where the factory is and where it needs to be to ensure production will be delivered right first time and on time.
• Lead the gap closing exercise on time for production to start in the right condition
MANUFACTUTING PERFORMANCE
• Work with sourcing quality assurance, to understand what is critical to product quality (CTQ), then work with factories to identify what manufacturing steps mostly influence product quality. Make sure those critical manufacturing steps (CTPs – critical to process) are managed by the factories with great care, controlled and measured on regular basis.
• Ensure through production trial runs that the production lines are in ready to start mass production
CAPACITY BUILDING
• Assess production capacity for key product ranges. Identify bottlenecks and opportunities. Propose solutions to increase capacity.

Work Experience:
•5 years extensive experience in production
•Previous experience in implementing lean principles into manufacturing
•Proven track record of manufacturing in China/Asia
Skills:
•Hardgoods materials related transformation processes and surface finishing (metal, glass, ceramics, plastic related transformation and finish)
•Knowledgeable in plastic injection
•Knowledgeable in metal forming techniques and welding
•Analytical & Problem solving
•Influence & Collaboration
•Initiative & Follow through
Education Qualification:
•Qualified in a recognized engineering discipline
•Certified LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt
Product Knowledge:
•Experience in manufacturing
•Strong technical expertise from Sanitary ware, bathroom products/ improvement industry
•Experience in implementing lean principles into a factory environment
