•Initiate and participate in marketing programs and activities with a view to originating project finance transactions both financial advisory and arranging with existing and new target clients of SMBCCN.
•Responsible for supporting arranging activities including credit evaluations, risk and financial analysis and preparing credit applications for new loans as needed
•Based on the credit approval, handling the negotiation of the terms and conditions of the loan and documentation, and achieving the financial close
•Supporting relevant Depts. in performing debt related project financing advisory services including risk analysis, cash flow modelling and preparing various documents requested by the client
•Help train and develop junior staff
•Raise the bank’s profile by attending and giving presentations at conferences etc.
•Other tasks assigned by line managers.

Qualification:
-Master / Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant degree
Ideally at least 6-8 years relevant experience in Project / Structured / Corporate Finance with Chinese sponsors
Special knowledge

-Project finance advisory and/ or lending experience in the energy/infra space is a plus
Structured finance, DCM, advisory

Other Requirement
-Good relationships with Chinese SOE, particularly in energy, power and utilities
-Possess network in the banking community with top Chinese banks.
-Ability to work in an international team and manage junior staff
-Strong interpersonal skills, resilience and ability to self-motivation
Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must.
