Evaluate applications/inquiries, issues and opportunities from Customers,
Territory/Regional Managers and Distributors. Ensure customer acceptance of
our products and services, and through close and constant interaction with key
internal and external contacts, conceive and articulate new product concepts and
solutions. Personally manage the Global Applications Engineering resource to
optimize profitable revenue opportunities arising from this interaction.

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience working with and applying mechanical design principles.
Experience with threaded joints preferred
Experience in drafting and CAD, including use of Geometric Design
and Tolerancing
Experience with product testing protocol
Knowledge of Consensus Standards for threads and materials a plus
Knowledge of metal working manufacturing processes-machining,
heading, milling, casting/forging, etc.
Knowledge of inspection and measuring equipment techniques
Good communication skills, including customer interaction,
presentation, training, written and verbal.
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and
PowerPoint.
Project management skills with emphasis on meeting deadlines.
Experience managing and motivating technical people.
Experience working in a Global Environment preferred
